Mechanics: original Legion 7.3.5. Check numerical values, item availability and custom changes in your realm’s client and rules.
Getting started
A secondary profession for collectors.
- Take the current Dalaran archaeology quest from Dariness the Learned.
- Identify the required culture and appropriate digsites.
- Check the quest rotation in your realm’s client.
Core materials
Fragments; keystones; Legion digsites
Useful products
Collection rewards and archaeology quests
Before spending
A historical reward calendar does not establish a private realm’s current rotation.
Ranks and leveling in Legion
Original 7.3.5 uses an overall profession cap of 800. Many Legion recipes have three ranks. Check the next rank’s source in Unlearned: quests, reputation, a boss or vendor. Modern expansion-separated skill systems do not apply here.

Practical playbooks are written by the portal editors. Check the patch before using current tables: numerical values after item-level squishes do not belong to Legion.
