Mechanics: original Legion 7.3.5. Check numerical values, item availability and custom changes in your realm’s client and rules.
Getting started
Herbalism supplies your own materials; without it account for purchased herbs.
- Begin Deucus Valdera’s questline in Legion Dalaran.
- Unlock needed potions and flasks, then improve their recipe ranks.
- Compare guaranteed crafting cost with observed output at your rank.
Core materials
Aethril, Dreamleaf, Foxflower, Fjarnskaggl, Starlight Rose, Felwort
Useful products
Flask of the Whispered Pact; Flask of the Seventh Demon; Flask of the Countless Armies; Potion of Prolonged Power
Before spending
Do not treat random extra output as guaranteed profit.
Ranks and leveling in Legion
Original 7.3.5 uses an overall profession cap of 800. Many Legion recipes have three ranks. Check the next rank’s source in Unlearned: quests, reputation, a boss or vendor. Modern expansion-separated skill systems do not apply here.

Practical playbooks are written by the portal editors. Check the patch before using current tables: numerical values after item-level squishes do not belong to Legion.
