Getting started
Alchemy consumes herbs; inscription mills them.
- Gather each herb type to unlock its ranks and quests.
- Azsuna: Aethril; Val’sharah: Dreamleaf; Highmountain: Foxflower; Stormheim: Fjarnskaggl; Suramar: Starlight Rose.
- Build a circuit around available nodes and check competition during your playtime.

Before spending
Felwort has special acquisition conditions: do not plan it as a normal herb from every node.
Ranks and leveling in Legion
Original 7.3.5 uses an overall profession cap of 800. Many Legion recipes have three ranks. Check the next rank’s source in Unlearned: quests, reputation, a boss or vendor. Modern expansion-separated skill systems do not apply here.
