• For gathering compare herbs, ore and leather by return per hour of your playtime.
• For crafting compare consumables, enchants and gems with recipe ranks and sales volume.
• Start with a small batch and record cost, sale time and unsold inventory.

Checking crafting cost

Cost = sum of (reagent quantity × purchase price) + additional expenses. Profit = proceeds after fees − cost. Self-gathered materials also have value: compare selling raw materials with crafting. Check actual sales rather than listed auctions alone.
